At the Leander ISD Board Meeting Sept. 21, 2017, Emily Veraa, an agriculture science teacher at Leander High School, was recognized by the Board for receiving the Ideas Unlimited – Innovative Teaching Award from the Vocational Agriculture Teacher Association of Texas.
