Rouse High School senior Nicole Quiroa, recognizing Ashlee Pope:
“I selected Mrs. Pope, not only for helping me out, but for believing in me. She is the most dedicated woman when it comes to helping her students at Rouse High School - helping me with not only my grades, but my college applications. She made me strive and believe in what I wanted and what I thought was best for me, guiding me in the right path. Without her help I would not be accepted into a college and have the confidence I have now. Mrs. Pope really showed me to be an independent young lady, to have hope and to always have my head up, no matter what I come across to. A dedicated woman, I appreciate her for all the things she has done for me and helped me out in.”

Rouse High School senior Noah Davis, recognizing Jason Robb:
“Mr. Robb has positively impacted my life in more ways than I can count. My music education and performance ability have improved drastically since he first came to Rouse two years ago. But more than that, Mr. Robb has taught me some of the most important lessons I will ever learn in life. He has taught me to work hard, persevere, honor my commitments, pay attention to details, be aware of my surroundings and to constantly pursue excellence. My academic career and personal life would not have been the same without these lessons that I have learned from him. Mr. Robb loves his job, and that can be seen by anyone who walks in the door of our band hall. He is constantly teaching and instructing to improve the band as a whole and each individual within it. I have learned a lot from him in class, but I have learned even more from him during the conversations he will have with me and other students as we sit on couches in his office. To Mr. Robb, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for positively impacting my life and for bringing out the excellence within me and every person who has the privilege of being your student.”
